About the photographer

Photography has always been a part of Vicki Francis' life.  Many members of her family were skilled photographers who mentored and inspired her.  In her adulthood, Vicki inherited a trunk full of family photos and camera equipment. She poured through the images and found a renewed interest in photography through the trunk’s treasures and her professional career took shape. Apart from her three sons and her husband, photography has become her biggest passion.

Beginning with film and transitioning to digital SLR cameras, she mastered techniques used on location to control light as well as in Photoshop to create quality portraiture.

Ms. Francis uses professional Nikon equipment and strives to create a relaxed experience for her clients. Capturing true expression is her goal. She finds that allowing natural movement and organic events to unfold during her sessions is the best way to achieve incredible photos.
